What's the best (cheapest) way to watch Game of Thrones these days, from the start? Could either be online or via a firetv stick.

I see it's on Amazon TV but isn't included with prime as far as I can tell?

Free 7 day trial of Now TV. it’s less than 3 solid days of binge-watching for the whole thing.

Now TV sign up for the trial cancel straight away answer the questions why and you’ll get a deal meaning you don’t have to binge it.

The first three seasons were very good. After season 4, it went downhill spectacularly. By the end, it was just incoherent nonsense. Stop watching as soon as Tyrion Lannister goes on the run from his family.

Jon Snow is the worst military leader since Major General Sir William Elphinstone. All he does is gets his men killed for no reason. If I was one of his soldiers, I would definitely stick a knife in him rather than follow him into battle.

As above, I had bought the first 4 or 5 on DVD, then got the next one through dubious channels. The final series I just signed up for NowTV for a month for free and watched it there.
I used to get loads of "where have you gone" emails but they have now dried up.

So quite faithful to the books then? 🤣

(Never watched the show, struggling to complete the books...)

I liked it all although it defo changed in style when they moved away from the books (season 6 on?) Shame the final season had to be compacted as much as it was but still enjoyed the story.

I was told to watch it by my mum as it had dragons and lesbians in it...I didn't, then a few months later she told me not to bother as the lesbian scenes had all stopped... apparently all the sex scenes had stopped (no mention of dragons in the chat)...so, based on that evidence, which episodes should be watched to maximise the dragons and the sex scenes?
(I've absolutely no interest in it but I feel obliged to post the remark as my mum still seems to think I like dragons!)

The dragons don't appear until quite a long way in. From memory, there was nudity pretty much all the way through. Just start at the beginning or it won't make any sense. If you just want sex scenes, The Deuce is probably a better bet.

Ah ok, so more than just a couple of hours...I'll give it a miss.
Will go watch Ivor the Engine again as the dragons in that were great.

NowTV quality sucks. Best to borrow someone's Blu-ray collection, you're welcome to mine if you're near Gloucestershire.

Buy the DVDs

Watch it

Decide is too long to ever watch it all again

Sell the DVDs.

You might even make a profit if you get lucky 😀

That's a very kind offer @GeForceJunky - I am actually in Herefordshire, but could do with getting started ASAP as I'm playing catch up! I'd decided I wasn't going to bother with GoT in honesty as it started soooo long ago, but anyway, there's a woman involved...

Can you elaborate @Drac, by PM if needs be? Will your method give me more than 7 days access?
