I've been asked what the best way of using the web to distribute what would otherwise be a DVD sent by snail-mail. There might be a few hundered downloads and I'd imagine most people would view on their PCs & tablets, but the option to burn &view on a TV would be good.
Anyone suggest a simple approach for the technologically challenged?

classier than youtube 🙂 in that its for original content only (it does of course mean you need to be the rights holder to whatever you're uploading. But it means your content is being distributed in a space not mostly populated by videos of goats or the comments in the bottom half of youtube.
you can set video to be private / password protected and also allow or disallow media to be downloaded
