I'm trying to sell some car wheels + winter tyres, but have so far failed - probably because on eBay I'm suggesting a local pickup.

I probably need to offer some sort of low-cost postal/courier service, so I'm asking the STW Collective as to the options you know about and/or have previously used (successfully, of course!). Then hopefully I can re-list for the last time!

Ta, Richard

Thanks captain, will look into that. Hammyuk - They are original BMW alloys with Nokian tyres in 205/55-16. Had them fitted to my 120d.

PaisleyFreight + 1.

Have used them 3 or 4 times in the past without issue.

+1 for Paisley freight

Of you have a pallet lying around should be about £40 to most parts of the UK.

I used Paisley Freight- google Paisley Freight wheel postage and their rates for a certain number of wheels comes up. I put discs of card about 1" diameter smaller than the wheel and tyre on each side to protect from scratches then taped with loads of tape. It was about £40 to post five wheels.

Hi OP. Sold some bmw wheels with Conti winter tyres on recently. Took a while to sell, which I put down to mild weather. I put them on at a fixed price and relisted them after 30 day period was up.

Seem a huge variety of prices. I didn't offer any postage, so I suspect that will help shift your set.
