Driving to Betwsy in a month on a Friday evening. Did the same a couple of years ago and traffic was awful after passing Flint.
Am I better off sticking on A55 to Abergele then head south, or go through Mold, Ruthin to A5?
Wouldn't normally ask route advice but last time it took me 6hrs so every little helps!

I go from the Wirral, but once the M53 crosses the 56 were the same.
I normally go to the A5 via the Corwen road as its quicker than the Ruthin road.
M60, M56, A55, then turn left down the A470 (Conwy Valley).
Shouldn't take more than 2 hours, apart from Bank Holidays!
The M56/A55 is miles better now after the road widening.
