Hi,
What is the best way to load photos onto the forum? Just would like to have something easy and like to signup to the right thing. Flickr or whatever?
Cheers
Shaun

Flickr just does not appear to work any more. Yahoo really don't appear to want to fix it so that it works on iOS, and I'm not sure about other mobile platforms either. Shame, it used to work really well.
I've gone back to Photobucket, which does have issues, but does still work.

IMGUR is pretty simple to use on a mobile. Flickr still works OK if you use the desktop interface

Imgur is dead easy to use.

Flickr still works but it's clumsy.

Imgur here too. Use the app on phone/tablet or the website.

Try tinypic and then just copy the provided link under "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" and paste it into the box as it is. Don't try and add anything, click the IMG button or do anything beyond pasting the link into the box.

Works everytime for me.

Flickr just does not appear to work any more.

Flickr works on most platforms, on Android there is a trick extra step, hit share copy the URL open it in a browser (set to desktop not mobile) and you can get the BB code that has always been there. Not sure if IOS grabs the flickr url to the app or lets you choose to open it in the browser or not.

Chorlton you only need the bit with the http link and .jpg file name - the rest you can edit out. That way your name and other stuff doesn't appear slthough people can still click through

This is the 1st time I've managed to stick a photo on from Flickr without all the gubbins.

I have Flickr Pro and also Picasa which I also have on web pages via a gmail account. I am unable to put pics on this forum (though I have no problem copy/pasting URLs onto the Trailscotland site); all that comes up when I do a preview is six lines of gibberish code. Have tried removing extra http// etc but to no avail.

I still use Flikr and grab the BB code, but I do edit it to remove all the URL references (delete the syntax in square brackets that starts with URL) leaving just the Image reference (syntax in square brackets beginning with img) to remove the links to your flikr account.

Still not sussed out quotes though.
