I know there are some experts on here....I've just bought a garden table with a top made of thick reclaimed teak boards. As far as I can tell its had no further treatment.

There seems to be a million and one different protective treatments out there all claiming to be the best. Which one should I choose to minimise the change in colour and best protect the surface?
Nothing.
Teak does not need protecting. Applying oil strips the natural oil away meaning you have to oil it more often.
But surely doing nothing means it goes silver very quickly then green! I want nice teak colour and grain.....
It goes green if you don't wash it. Wash it (not pressure wash it) with some soap and water.
Its goes grey if you expose it to uv and oxidation. Oxalic acid with deal with the oxidation. A cover will deal with uv.
It goes black if you get milde etc, wash it. Consider some borax powder.
None of the above are super toxic. Alot of the teak oils are grim chemicals. It really doesn't need it.
Basically you need to clean it. Revel in its resilience and naturally occuring patina.
Teak oil, or boiled linseed.
