Just go to PC World or any better suggestions?
John Lewis - 2 year warranty as standard and excellent customer service.
I got my last three from PC world, mainly because I need a new one immeciately because I've broken the old. For the cheaper end they seem as cheap as any other shop, including supermarkets and have more choice (not that really matters). Order on-line, pick up in store, ignore the shop assistants
Can get cheaper on-line, but not much really and I can't usually wait for delivery.
Avoid PC world at all cost faulty from new and took me 3 months to get a replacement after 2 attempts by them to repair a £600 laptop.
CCL on line I'd'use
laptops direct, got one from there Thursday. they have stores as well, I went in and had a play, they've got a good array, much better than the local pc world, and at online prices too.
If your goods are faulty from new you can demand a refund in full under the sale of goods act. Don't get fobbed off, ask for manager and kick off if the shop assistant doesn't agree.
I have no love for PC world, just convenience.
Wouldnt normally recommend PC world but still using a laptop I bought from there over 5yrs ago and its still going strong.
Its a cheap and cheerful Advent one no bells or whistles but keeps on going.
Ebuyer seem to have good deals if you dont mind waiting for delivery.
