Just dreaming, but if you could have a small holiday home in any bit of the UK where would it be?

On the Coulin estate by Torridon, surrounded on each side by massive mountains, a stone's throw from the sea, and hundreds of miles of epic riding to be had in every direction 😀

Can you tell I'm a bit of a fan...

North West Scotland-ish, depends where you live though. Do you need easy access? I'd be fine with North Wales, Northumberland, North Yorks coast, Lakes even.

Anywhere next the sea and close to mountains- preferably N West Scotland but would settle for N West Wales

I'd say Cornwall.. not from from the sea, but far enuf away to miss the yobs, and.. oh ya...right on the moor would be nice.

North Cornish coast or the Lake district, I reckon.

Although a decent camper van might be money better spent. Some of the larger ones look reet posh, especially when towing little Smart cars.

Like stoners solution a LOT!
Currently fantasizing about a place in Robin Hoods Bay, or maybe Lockton.

sorry Clink 🙂

still, you've got a new cuddly thing to snuggle up to now!

BTW - in the context of the original post, a camper van is obcioulsy a wasting asset rather than an appreciating one.

A £250k cottage could "make" you £10k a year in the long run (avoiding crahse, obviously) where as a £20k van, will cost you a few grand a year depreciation. Running a van is cheaper than a cottage though! 🙂

Fowey or Polperro in Cornwall, Beer in Devon, Lulworth and Studland in Dorset, Lymington in Hampshire. Endless choices frankly.
