My laptop has possibly died for the last time. It's in the pooter hospital but I'm not holding out much hope.

Anybody know of any where that's doing good deals on laptops for general use. It doesn't need to be particularily portable as it wont be leaving the house (I have a laptop because of space issues at home for a desktop)

Any help greatly appreciated

Cheers

Ken

Here you go - decent enough spec for £400 with an Intel chipset but best of all comes with three year factory warranty.

I've had a Samsung R519 for about 6 months now and have been pretty happy with it - comes with Windows 7 which is good IMO. £350ish

The bottom casing is a bit flimsy/plasticy feeling but no problems with it actually in use (including being dropped a few times (thanks Mrs Clubber) and having liquid thrown on it (thanks Cat).
