You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Bit bored at work. Anyone got any they recommend? I play COC, but it's the type of game you play once a day for 2 minutes.
Red bull bike can pass a bit of time.
By 8.20am? Glad I'm not your employer! 😉
Also, GTA San Andreas if you've the space.
Yep, 5 hours into my shift.
Stick Cricket and tennis are always good.
Angry Birds, though old is still cracking if you've not played it for a while.
Cliff Diving is not bad.
Dumb Ways to Die is quite entertaining.
TrialX2 isn't bad either.
The various SNES RPGs onthere are worth a play, Chrono Trigger's a good port. The GTAs are good ports too.
The Beneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword ports are good too. Monkey island's a bit clunky but it's still monkey island and therefore awesome.
Ticket To Ride's Great.
Two Dots is my "5 mins on the train" time waster.
Agent A's quite a fun puzzler that came out recently, might be worth waiting for more content though.
A Dark Room is weirdly hypnotic and unique.
Sid Meiers Ace Patrol's quite fun
X-Com
Eclipse
Battle of the Bulge
Lords of waterdeep
Small world
Carcassonne
Frozen synapse
Hill climb racing
Smash hit
Ice breaker
Hitman go
Lumino city
Any of the rayman games
Limbo
Shadow blade
Fallout shelter
Room plus Room 2 and 3
Stick cricket
Stick tennis
Shooty skies
Eclipse is brilliant!
super monsters ate my condo and New Star Soccer
Pumped BMX (second is better than the first) is worth a bash - although it's one of those games you struggle to play without moving your arms about like a donut
Isn't Eclipse iPad only?
Creed is a good quality boxing game
I'm enjoying Duet and Monument Valley, little bit of thinking involved and strangely addictive.
Crossy Road (basically Frogger) is fun for a few minutes.
Bored at work and time to play games. Sorry I don't understand?
Defo 'Storm Raiders' 🙂
Trigger Fist is a pretty good first person shoot 'em up. Otherwise retro Prince of Persia. 😀
Quell.
And Quell+
Oh, and Quell Reflect!
And Quell Memento.
Seriously, Quell for me = the most perfect games for such a device as wot the smartphone is. You can have hours or minutes. And the replayability is high. I have a few months off then play them all over again. One finger brain teaser with exquisite sound and beautifully rendered graphics*
*Bonus - It seems to have some intrinsic zen factor. I've rarely been (simultaneously) so challenged and relaxed. Still prefer the original of the trilogy if pushed.
Bike mayhem
Hill climb
New star soccer
Hungry shark evolution
Room plus Room 2 and 3
Wait... there's a Room 3?!
Ah, iDevices only atm. Poohsticks.
Real Racing
though I opened the thread planning to suggest CoC 🙁 - though you can play that a bit more than once a day (how frequently tends to depend on how much you've upgraded your heroes)
I'll preface my response by saying I'm not huge gamer because I get bored very easily. As such any game that captures and keeps my attention to the point of completing it is, in my opinion, something special. Here are my recommendations, both essentially platform puzzlers but with some unique gameplay.
About Love, Hate and the Other Ones - totally captivated me
Monument Valley - visually very striking if not that challenging
Got pretty much everyone at work texting me screenshots of how close they got to doing the first level of 'Eclipse'!
And yes, I do have a job where as long as I keep my eye on the ball I do get the odd spare minute with time to waste, doing my job I really earn my money when something goes wrong.
Probably wouldn't go wrong if you weren't faffing on your phone 😉
Ha Ha! True!

Addictive, quick and dirty cop chases with retro 8 bit gfx/sound. loads of cars to earn. Impressive how the handling differs so much from car to car for what is such a simple game.
How crucial are the in-app purchases? Nowt more annoying than a game you basically can't complete without hand in over cash (looking at you here EA)
How crucial are the in-app purchases?
Not sure as don't play it that much - I think you'd have to play it A LOT to earn all of the cars by watching ads/collecting points. Tbh its just fun to play.
Worms 2, Worms 3, Worms 4.
Which of these are free?
Or maybe bought, without the need for constant £££ upgrades or special tools/weapons/features
How's about stick man dh ! Or do you only get it on 'proper' phones?
Just downloaded rayman having played that a long time ago on an old Xbox.... It's ok I guess..
