When's the best time to buy tech stuff? I'm in the market for a laptop or PC as mine's on it's last legs, and I'm thinking that I'd get a better deal after Xmas... what's the collective opinion?

Well, VAT should go up by at least 2.5% in January so there's that to factor in.
The best deals in the sale might mean having to sleep outside PC World / Dixons / Comet / etc to get one of the limited stock offers.
