Salsa and Mesquite Kettle chips, Brannigan's Beef and Mustard or McCoys Chilli (I ate the latter almost daily throughout my 3rd year at uni)

[quote=bigphilblackpool ]Ahhh the bastard child of marmite, nicknacks and crackers, good but worchester sauce ones better, the wife loves em BUT are they a crisp??!!! I think savoury snack my friend.

Indeed, not a crisp I feel. Although, I hate marmite but could eat twiglets all day long! To rival Frazzles - Bacon Fries

As already stated above - Co-Op bestest quality Salt and Vinegar - so strong you get a whole new lining on your mouth over the following days.

However - having been a fan of many of the above suggestions the one crisp (brand) to beat them all is Pipers.... lovely, lovely crisps.

Spar onion rings

Golden wonder smokey bacon

Space raiders

Nothing by walkers (I will never forgive the blue / green cheese and onion, salt and vinegar switcheroo)

TBH the crisp world imploded once Walkers bought out most of their rivals.

I miss ready salted Chipsticks (the smiths ones) and Ringos. Oh and KP Skydivers if anyone remembers those. There was also something called 'Bitz of pizza' , don't remember who made them though.

For zig jnr. Frazzles are the crisp of choice.

IIRC Bits of Pizza were KP.

M&S big bag version of Skips used to be great as well, loads of flavour and once opened there was no stopping until the bag was empty.

Don't know if they still make 'em though.

There really is only 1 crisp:

Walkers Salt and vinegar extra crunchy. It is so intense and amazing.

Oh +38435830553570375325

These, and the new Prawn Cocktail versions, are flavours & textures like they are supposed to be in a crisp. Sharp, strong and..well...extra crunchy. Knocks all the posho crips like Kettle Chips (overrated) etc into a cocked hat. Well, with the possible exceptions of Pipers.

As an added bonus they are frequently on offer. £1 in both Tesco and Asda at the mo.

Yes, but how many of the packets can you put in the oven and shrink to make a novelty badge?

Yes, I used to watch "Why Don't You?" in my defence there was only 3 channels.
