Reinventing the softtail. Was a good as though.
😀
Goes on a bit, dunniiiiit?
Yeah that's a great ad. Funny and made me interested in the product.
Best ever though?
(It wasn't banned, it was an early attempt at viral marketing.)
Surprised the Brexit crowd haven't jumped on that Tango ad.😁
Still my favourite...
Honourable mention, for the work that went into it.
"Cross country sucks!" - lol
Honourable mention, for the work that went into it.
Is that not cgi? Or was it made before cgi?
Pre cgi I think. Bit of a conceptual ripoff though.
This was their recent sequel.
That's about my level...
I like the Honda one but the wheels gain speed up a slope which just Ruins it for me.
Is that not cgi? Or was it made before cgi?
Nope. 100% real. Save from a bit of photoshop to highlight water spray/hide a few bits of wire. Though it’s 2x 1minute shots, rather than one 2 minute one https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cog_(advertisement)
606 takes...
Re the wheels uphill, I think they were weighted or used magnets, but still legit.
I think that Trek one is lame, soz. The bike is hot though
This.
Because 'Carlos Fandango wheels' became part of the national lexicon.
They're ADVERTS! ADVERTS I tell you!
Reinventing the softtail
And for this reason the first ad is annoying. And too long.
Carlos Fandango wins best ADVERT for me.
Or that Guinness/Leftfield one.
Surely it has to be this one.... Split into three parts and spread over the advert break. For the first two parts the viewer had no idea what on earth was happening.
Ha! That Trek one is great.
Still one of mine.
Still giggle at this beer wardrobe one
"Pea and ham? from a chicken? Now that's clever."
“Pea and ham? from a chicken? Now that’s clever.”
Looking back, I sometimes wonder if there were other things that Hughie didn't know about what his wife was up to.
I like the trek advert, although could have been better if the guy who wanted to buy one went really ape shit when his misses said he only just bought a new bike.
anyway best ad ever.....maybe
Why can't I paste videos or photos in here any more?
haha that slag of snacks one is brilliant cheers. so un PC!
other advert quotes that have entered the general conscience -
"Glenda, you're an angel"
That Battlefront ad is ace.
On the Accrington Stanley advert, see here (you can fast forward to about 1:40)
