Woke up this morning (I know a song about that) and amongst the usual mails I found one saying we have enough backing to restart the newspaper we had to close for non financial reasons. I've been seriously close to suicide for 3 months as this went on.

smiley smiley smiley

66 by the way, and I prefer Peroni.

The MD died very suddenly and his wife decided for a lot of good reasons that she couldn't carry on with the papers. A group of us looked at the more profitable parts of the group and will be doing a relaunch of what we think will work and then if it works as planned we will hopefully expand the operation.

All exciting stuff.

Congratulations and happy birthday.

I received an email last week from Avis Rental saying that as I have a significant birthday approaching they had a gift for me..........10% discount off one of their cars. Wow!

Retirement? Why would anyone do that? Design, graphics and writing get me out of bed in the morning. I really love creating and I'm doing that as well as ever. Why would I give up something that important to my life?

To make way for a millennial ffs! They'll bring their own smashed avocado. You should move out of your house too, while you're about it. Happy birthday 🙂

Millennials can gtfo. And I can't sell the house as we are still having our Brexit winning celebrations, 'cos that's what old folk do.

That may be a joke but us wrinklies have problems with emoticons. 🐓
