i've got a MS Surface and zero editing skills.
I've got tonnes of quick videos that i'd like to trim and then stitch together seeing as i'm off work for another three months.
any recommendations that an unintelligent luddite could use?
DaVinci Resolve here - it is quite powerful and feature filled, so perhaps not ideal.
I’ve been using OpenShot for putting together the my Church’s online service since March and it has met all my needs So far. Just watch a few tutorials on YouTube before getting stuck in
There are other tools but OpenShot is seen as one of the easiest to get going with. Once you’ve got to grips then there’s some really powerful free tools such as DaVinci Resolve which I’m mulling over
There's one hidden away in Windows 10 that I discovered a few weeks ago.

I dunno about "best" but you can do basic video editing with, somewhat non-obviously, the Photos app which is preinstalled in Windows 10 (on the Desktop version at least).
