Need a new watch so though this is the time to go smart.

Things I would like :

Decent battery life
GPS to record rides/walks
Ability to upload to strava
Sleep monitoring
Heart rate monitor
Read texts etc

I'm a total novice with all of this. All the reading I've been doing has blown my mind.

What should I be looking at ?

Thanks.

Steve.

I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 which does all that. My first smart watch and I'm pretty impressed, had it for about a year now and paid about £140 from memory. There is a Vivoactive 4 now so that might be a better option.

Vivoactive three is a good option and ticks all your boxes, it was around £125 with recent Garmin discount but it appears that has ended, a decent colour is probably going to cost £180. Which isn’t particularly good value for an older model

HUAWEI Watch GT Active

Apparently amazing value with loads of features. Appears to be under £100

Vivoactive for me. 5 Day battery life is useful.

I have the galaxy watch 46mm and it will do everything you are wanting.

Battery life is a few days but I turn if off at night. I could get more but I like the watch face to be always on.

Bought it as a refurb from Argos eBay shop for £120.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I did look at the Huawei watch as I have a Huawei phone but I've heard people can't get it to link to strava.

Instinct looks nice. Whats the score with a factory refurb ?

Cheers for the pm.

I've gone with the instinct. Looks to have a decent battery life.

Cheers all
