So the thing that really matters, what ale to take.

Realistically im limited to stuff from a supermarket. Should i switch between the Friday and Saturday nights? what if it rains?

Doing a run on Thu to get beer, think Sainsburys had some pistonhead flat tyre that might be appropriate for the weekend.

Drop into the Co-Op at Dumfries for a good range of Scottish beer...

4 pack of Dead Pony Club (much to the disgust of the self proclaimed beer ****s on here) and a handful of other randoms from the hipster beer shelf from Tesco will do me.

I really liked this one that I tried the other day:

Probably wouldn't need too many, rather strong

Big massive 700 odd ml bottles of Corona (1.50 in Aldi) to neck straight after the race, perfect size for it. I'll grab a few and head up to heckle the stragglers through the end of stage 6...

Harviestoun Schiehallion or mibbe Joker IPA for when the thirst subsides. Then whatever the pub up in Reeth sells. 😆

Then hoping to bugger off to the Lakes on the way back north on the sunday for a wee rock fest to finish a perfect weekend...
