I just like alcohol in general!
But I really do like beer mainly.
Yup! Looking forward to a couple of pints of Tea later. That's T.E.A., btw.
Sorry ton, just lager here but its tasty. Not really had a drink for a few weeks as the mrs has been in the hospital but it tastes very sweet tonight as she's back by my side having half a tipple!

Dont drink to get drunk anymore.
agree with this totally, i drink pale hoppy or fuity blonde beers, for the taste rather than the strength.
but, i am just sipping a jura at present, which is quite strong.
Love beer ,, makes me fart a bit tho'
We had our AGM ready for the Xmas doooooo tonight which involved numerous pints of Golden Fleece from the boys and girls at the Black sheep brewery in Masham. Love beer me.
Love it, love it, love it!
Two bottles of Crouch Vale Amarillo and two Fullers Bengal Lancers whilst I ate a curry and watched the last episode of the Lonesome Dove mini series, now a glass of red and MOTD... All the time scoring brownie points, as Mrs Flea is out with friends and I'm looking after the mini Fleas! 🙂
I totally stopped drinking it when I got diagnosed coeliac and told to go on a wheat free diet. Turned to cider instead. Now I don't know if everyone realises this, but cider is made out of fruit. So that had to go. I'd always assumed the gluten free beer would be manky, because making beer without wheat is a bit like trying to make some sort of meat substitute out of fungus. But it turns out, some of it is pretty bloody good. Ah beer, never leave me again!
Beer is God's way of telling us he loves us. 😀
I agree.
Been off it since Sept as going sober for Macmillan.
I would love my reintroduction pint on Sat to be Brains SA Gold...but as I'm not in Wales it will probably be a lovely Blue Monkey Infinity down the local ale establishment...can't wait 😉
because making beer without wheat is a bit like trying to make some sort of meat substitute out of fungus.
Wrong 🙂
Making beer without barley on the other hand.....
dont you just love it.
Beer to me is a kind of easy Slapper: love it in the evenings, but not the morning after.
With whisky, wine, gin & rum coming a close 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th

bacardi doesn't count as drink. it belongs in the first aid kit.
Good point Pies!
Had a couple of bottles of THIS with Shropshire blue cheese on toast today & TBH I love you all 🙂
I remember taking some medication a few years ago that made bet taste ridiculously bitter for a few months. I was mortified.
Luckily, my tastebuds returned to normal operations eventually and I'm so relieved I can love beer again.
You don't know what you have until you fear you might lose it...
Rachel
That must have been a nightmare 😮
I'm off to the beervendor- anyone want me to bring something back?
5 more days of October to go ...... Something for the weekend ? 🙂
Yup. Just got a box of local brewery beers. A golden ale, a stout and an IPA - beeeeeer!!!
Had a post ride Sunday roast at the magnificent Royal Oak at Hurdlow with a mate today. Rather fell in love with the Thornbridge Cedar they had on. All sorts of flavours going on with it, shame I had to drive home and only had a half pint.....
2 Exmoor Gold for me tonight. Yum...
Just finished my second Old Peculiar, which tasted even better after only paying £1.25 a bottle.
Great stuff beer, keeps the wife looking good too 😆
Mundiesmiester, that was my lunchtime 'hair of the dog' treat today! Freakin' awesome 😛
Massive beer fan yesterday
Not a fan of today's hangover though
Got Friday booked off for a beer festival 😀
