I've been given a $100 gift card but its for Amazon.com and is not transferable to Amazon.co.uk.
Anything I want is too large so the shipping is $25> I thought about software but don't need any. Any other ideas for small items that I'm unlikely to need to return, or ways of swapping it for GBP that areen't dodgy?
How long does the card last? Is it tied to your account, or just a barcode/number to enter in? And could it be spent a bit at a time? I have a variety of relatives in the USA and could probably find a way to spend it on one of them over time and give you the GBP equivalent. And you could publicly shame me if I didn't give you the cash 🙂
could you not by an amazon voucher for the UK with it?
I don't think that you're allowed to buy gift cards with gift cards for some reason.
I seem to be able to log onto the American & UK sites with the same account. It seems that once a card is redeemed it gets added to your account to spend, have you looked to see if it shows up when on the UK site?
Failing that would there be any music/video/ebook downloadable digital content or possibly some subscriptions that might interest you?

Buying international digital content is a nightmare!
Buy a watch, often good deals on Amazon and the size to value ratio is good.
