When I saw the first film at the cinema, there was a youngish couple sitting next to us (her next to me). Stupidly assumed bloke dragged his girlfriend along but when the film started, he looked increasingly bored and then when Optimus Prime appeared on screen she let out this girly giggle, turned around to her boyfriend and said "Looooooook.... optimus prime... how cool is that?". The look on his face seemed to make it clear it wasn't at all cool.
