I don't know if this has been done before but wow!! The photography is just incredible!
It's been done loads of times before about wildlife programmes.
Still awesome!
That shot just with the arctic fox. 2 1/2 years waiting 😯
stunning absolutely stunning !!! it's what hd was made for 🙂
monsoon is just as good too
Those close ups of the cheetahs were fabulous. Truly the Audrey Hepburns of the cat world.
It is astounding - there was a shot of the ibex when the cheetahs were stalking it, and the setup and lighting couldn't have been any better if the animals had been stuffed and shot in a studio. It was just incredible.
Couldn't agree more, even the film of the hummingbirds; who'd a thunk the little devils could be so aggressive? Must be all that sugar!
I always like the catch-up bit at the end, the amount of effort put into that one Arctic fox shot was incredible, but the one they got was stunning.
Nobody does wildlife TV like the Beeb do.

That is a good comparison, those chaps out of the BBC NH unit in Bristol sure earn their money.
Did you see the base jumping goslings last week?
License fee fully justified if they keep producing such sublime work.
Truly brilliant television.
Also, despite years of watching BBC natural history shows, they're still finding stuff to make me say "Wow!"
Coconut and octopus, anyone?
Some of the hummingbird stuff almost looked superimposed.
I assume the cheetas are very very tame
Mrs ws doesn't do natural history but she sat there stunned! The hummingbirds looked like the best cgi possible at times and the octopus was just awesome!
Coconut and octopus, anyone?
Who knew flounders were that aggressive?
We watched the first two on iPlayer last night.
SPOILERS:
The "diaries" from the first episode had Mrs BF in tears - the basejumping Goslings and the dastardly fox 🙁
Who knew flounders were that aggressive?
See my point above re "Wow!".
So many things I never knew, or even thought about. Utterly brilliant.
