For the last couple of days, my BBC Sport and News apps, keep logging me out and then ask me to log back in when opened with saved password. It then asks me if I want to use auto log in. Which I select but it makes no difference the next time I open the app.
It's a minor niggle but bloody annoying.
Anyone had similar and has resolved the issue?
How strange. It's historically well documented that it only happens on STW and no other sites on the planet ever do this.
It'll be one of two things: Either something is borked on the site/app itself; or something on your device is buggering about with cookies or security settings. Do you get the same behaviour on another device? Have you got two sessions open that are interfering with each other perhaps (eg when you log in to device 2 it logs you out of device 1, or you have the site open twice)? A round of rebooting might fix the latter.

The difference being, here we can compare the experience of all users rather than one in isolation.
I had the same, both apps were asking me to sign in every time I opened them, even though I ticked the "remember me" or whatever it was that popped up.
But the problem seems to have resolved itself, for now at least. It was getting a tad annoying!
I assume it's an issue at their end as the problem went away even though no app updates were downloaded.
