I loved the original Battlefront on XBox and spent hours on it. It was a fantastic game. I was really looking forward to the sequel and was bitterly disappointed when I read the reviews about needing to spend to progress.
I've been informed that all the microtransactions were removed very shortly after launch due to backlash. Apparently, you just need to play it to progress now...
