I need a charger for a lead acid golf trolley charger. Needs to be the trickle type that I can leave plugged in. Websites say 4amp.

Pretty shocked to see them at £30! Any ideas where I might try for something cheaper that won't burn my house down?

i'd say £30 wasn't too bad investment for not burning your house down...

The Aldi smart chargers are good if you can find any in stock

I use them as battery tenders on motorcycles [connected 24/7] when not out riding.

£12 IIRC

If Aldi don't have them then Halfords do the motorbike ones that are like a slightly beefed up mobile phone charger. Again designed to be plugged in all the time.
