I feel sorry for anyone upset. I don't like him that much as the other half likes him.

Also gutted that the film may be poopy as I want to see it this weekend.

Hope it's ok and will switch off brain/switch on 12 year old personality e.g. Like on here! when watching the movie 8)

I agree with Affleck. Stupid and dull question to ask actors.

Possible spoilers!!!I enjoyed the movie, it's not amazing and has an overblown CGI ending but Affleck makes for a pretty decent Wayne/Gotham Bat. Superb dream sequence with Batman in a trench coat!

Is it just me who's a bit puzzled by the concept of this film? One, aren't they both good guys? Two, wouldn't superman laugh in the face of batman's efforts?

How are either of these things explained away in the film?

I would be really, really disappointed if your questions aren't answered in the film "Batman v Superman".

A world weary Bruce Wayne considers Superman a threat to humanity after Metropolis was raised to the ground in Man Of Steel

He doesn't look that sad. Then again, this is Ben Affleck, maybe that's as emotive as he gets?

Not sure if I saw man of steel or not. Which, if I have, says all it needs to about the film.

Lets face it. This film is just a starting block for the introduction of "Justic League" and Wonder Woman.
It will be nowhere near as good as the Dark Knight trilogy.
But, it's probably worth a watch.

This film has got 3 stars as written all over it, a low 3 at that.

I watched a midnight screening of this Thursday/Friday and really enjoyed it. Superb from start to finish. Affleck is excellent as Batman. I even thought Wonder Woman was cool and she is one of the lamest super heroes ever.

I dont understand the bad reviews, its a super entertaining movie and very plausible, which surprised me to say the least.

Hilarious clip...even more so because I'm from the perspective that I just do not get this kind of movie. Maybe Ben Afleck suddenly woke up and realised it was shite too....very funny.

Plausible, yes in so much as when I first heard the idea of Batman fighting Superman I thought it was nonsense, Superman would destroy a man, no question. But the way Batman went about it and had him beat I thought was plausible.

Due to Supermans arrogance at him being basically indestructible he didn't expect what Batman did and by the time he breathed in the Kryptonite gas it was already too late. I will say him breathing it in a second time was reaching a little.

And I know every thing there is to know about Santa Claus aka Father Christmas so save your breath dude.

Honestly?

Had I given a rat's arse about whether someone revealed something of the plot in the film Batman v Superman , I wouldn't have opened a thread entitled "Batman V Superman: Sad Affleck... oh it made me chuckle" 😆

Well I ended up seeing a different movie yesterday because of this thread/reviews.

I wouldn't mind seeing it, will go in with am empty mind like amnesia yellow kryptonite as its pretty obvious what is going to happen from the trailers/internet/thread.

Still think Kick Ass is the best superhero movie ever.

LOL, I know right.....

Well yes actually.

Most people with a half decent grasp of Internet "convention" know not to give detailed specifics of the main plot of a new film without even the slightest warning.

A thread about an actors response to reviews about the film, without a Spoilers warning, wouldn't normally contain spoilers.

Obviously it's funny to break with convention, and spoil other people's enjoyment. (Not mine btw, I've already seen it)

Look, there's much more to the film than a bit of Kryptonite being used and like I said thats practically a given since its Supermans only weakness.

Only a complete idiot would have been surprised to see it in the film. I didnt exactly expose the films plot by my comment.

Saw it yesterday, and I enjoyed it. I actually think it's a pretty good take on Batman. I'm not a big comics nerd but as I understand it it's pretty close to the Dark Knight comics?

I watched it yesterday and enjoyed. I read the critics reviews and if they couldn't keep track of what was happening they must be a bit on the slow side. It is very much in the style as Man of Steel as you would expect. Ben Afleck was pretty good Batman comparable with Christian Bale. Only gripe was with Batman's nightmare sections which seemed a bit unnecessary but after reading the fan's comments afterwards there are a lot of clues to other characters in these but not being the big comic fan these went over my head. It doesn't feel like a 2hr30min film when you watch as the story progresses well to the end.

Have you seen Deadpool? It kicks Kick Ass's ass.

I liked bits of the film. As has been said it is nowhere near as good as the last 3 Batman's. Superman is incredibly dull in it and Louis Lane is annoying in that she takes accident prone to a whole new level. Wonder Woman is pretty damn cool though.

OH my god. Ever put your head in a metal dustbin and had someone beat on it for 2 hours with a lump of wood? That's what I feel like after seeing that film at the IMAX.
Aside from that, it was utter rubbish 😆

SPOILERS WITHIN...

I saw it with the missus...
I thought:
Individually, the characters were quite enjoyable - I liked the different take on batman from the previous trilogy.

As a film it was trite. I mean, the best bits were dream sequences. Where/why/how did the weird monster from the end come about.
Like "let's grow a monster from Zod's body and my blood and it'll do exactly what I need it to, and it'll be finished when this 1 hour timer goes off".
I can't bake a cake to that level of timing accuracy, let alone grow an alien...

Mah, makes me angry, wish I'd watched batman begins again.

Totally agree mate! (Didn't want to add spoilers!) That monster stuff totally ruined it. The dream sequences were the worst bit in the EARMAX - so utterly ridiculously LOUD!

Took my eldest (14) to see it last night. We even watched Man of Steel again just before going to make sure we were up to speed. No spoilers here but it failed the numb arse test after just 45 minutes. That's a record btw.

As these superhero/fantasy movies get more 'real' this was a throwback to stupidly unbelievable and a real disappointment for me as a fan of the genre. My boy thought it was rubbish which also surprised me. I think my youngest may have enjoyed it but he's only wee and doesn't care too much about characters or plot and is too young to go see it anyway (8).

There must be something going on behind the scenes - it can't be this crap on purpose.

Agree that was the weakest bit. It started to get less interesting when all the wacky stuff/lighting etc started at the crashed ship.

With stuff like that the 'bigger' the action gets the less interesting it is, it's just flashy crackly light and you can't really see what's going on.

Also looked a bit too much like the cave troll from the Lord of the Rings to me!

Deadpool was funny but not sure I could watch it as much as Kick-Ass.

Incredibles - totally forgot about that one, brilliant.

Reviews of B V S here is putting me off watching it.

General Zod? Wasn't he from Toy Story?
