Where do people go to buy new stuff for the bathroom these days?
We've got a single small bathroom that desperately needs renovated and I have a tradesperson lined up but I need to get all the main items to go in it.
Your advice is much appreciated lol
We had the main bits from Wolseley, well the fitter got it from there, when we did my mum’s bathroom.
Middle priced quality items.
Timely, thinking about sorting my shower out. Anyone know about "floating" panels, ie a gap at the bottom for easy cleaning / no silicone.
EDIT: sorry to hijack, but essentially same question as OP.
I’ve done 3 bathrooms with stuff from VictoriaPlum - better quality stuff than you get in the big sheds and not the price/discount lottery when you go into your local plumbers merchant.
We shopped around. White stuff matches well enough without needing to come from the same shop. Basin and cabinet from IKEA, loo from b&q, shower online somewhere, shower wall system came via b&q but direct from the supplier, taps from bunnings (in the sale when they shut down). Reused the existing bath.
Watching - I've got two to do next year, I thought s few people on here had said avoid VP due to lack of VFM previously?
Interested in anything to avoid silicon! even when using top notch silicon and technique I've never had it last longer than a year

The shower wall system I installed had angled profiles for the bottom corner and an aluminium extrusion for the vertical corner. No other joins. The overlapping of these profiles meant it just needed a tiny bead of silicone that was mostly aesthetic
