Just looking at refurbishing the bathroom. The Bathroom fitter has suggested using KartellUK for the supplies and the suite / Taps / Misc items from the KVIT range. We were originally thinking Roca or Vitra as we have seen these and recognise the name. Does anybody know anything about the quality of the KVIT items. I guess our main worry is when it comes to sell the house at some point people might prefer a well know brand rather than kvit etc.
Any thoughts or opinions would be welcome. Is it worth asking for roca/vitra to be fitted rather than KVIT. Not too concerned about the additional expense if it worth it. Just wondering why he prefers to use the KVIT items etc.
If anybody knows any good bathroom fitters / plumbers in Leeds that would be helpful too!
Thanks

No experience of it but looks nice enough on paper, I wouldn't worry about it being a problem if you come to sell your house later - as long as it still looks in good condition and isn't obviously cheap and nasty I can't see anyone caring.

I'm not familiar with that brand but was looking for shower enclosures recently and read some very scathing reviews of 'Durovin' ones (obviously a ripoff of Duravit). I'd say that would be a key area not to scrimp on. Bath and shower tray, there's not much to go wrong providing you check the thickness and its comparable with a decent one - you don't want anything too flimsy. Loo and sink, again, if they look & feel okay, they probably are.
