Got a bit of mould around the window in our ensuite which the good lady would like gone.
She's looking at getting someone in but it's not a massive amount.
We need a better fan for the extractor but is there anything I can do to remove it/kill it?

HG Mould spray. £5 from B&Q. It's the shiznitz.

What 100inch said. I don't care what's in the bottles, the HG stuff works better than anything else I've tried.

50% solution of Milton with water . put it on affected area and put some on a tissues too, to keep it soaking into the mildew and so it does not dry out , leave over night and should remove it.
If very bad , repeat till its gone.
Keep the area damp with the solution using the tissue.
Do not get it on stainless steel, make sure you rinse it of if you do very quickly!

This is STW, the home of bathroom mould removal threads. The answer as ever is HG.

As this is stw, HG also sells a really good stove glass cleaner...

Pity they don't do a frame spray or chain degreaser.

Astonish or HG. Both are effective, but the HG is better on big areas of established mould.

Also a good preventing measure is open the window if you want a really hot shower.

Mould will grow if moisture is trapped in.
