Thinking of heading into Bath tomorrow with two families. Can we actually take a dip in any Roman baths? or is it just new ones? Any recommendations? or other must do stuff?

Just the new Thermae Spa and I am fairly sure that kids are not allowed in.
The kids may be interested in a visit to the Roman Baths if they are doing Roman history at school.

if they are teenagers then it's 1 per accompanying adult
younger than that, not allowed
