A modern gas combi boiler is on the horizon for chez Kormoran and i'm wondering about costs. A small 2 bed semi, potentially looking at a straight swap for a Worcester Bosch type affair. No addtional work as far as I can see
What sort of price range might I be looking at.? Nice easy access etc etc.

You can get quotes of Boxt quite easily

A like for like WB boiler for me is 2,4k from boxed.

I'm also due a new one.
Yeah, a straight swap-out should be around a couple of grand, depending on where you are geographically.
We had a new boiler put in 18 months ago. Swapping a system boiler with hot water cylinder to a 30kw Ideal combi boiler and moving the boiler from the kitchen to the airing cupboard once the tank had been removed with all the associated pipework changes this entailed.
All in, it cost us a smidge over £3k; I think around half of that was parts and he was on site for 3 days, so not an unreasonable cost in my mind.
.
Try Boxt, I had a quote for a swap out last week around £2500. My daughter had them replace her system boiler earlier this year with a Combi and the quality of work was great.
Nice to hear all this love for BOXT – my team's new shirt sponsor #MOT #ALAW
Looks like I got a bargain at £1200 for a new combi boiler in February.
It replaced one of a different make so wasn’t a straight swap.
Originally from Leeds and of course still a fan.
