Do you sit at a desk and fold your legs; left behind right. Or something similar to that?

I get a balder patch on my leg where my wallet sits (must be the weight of all the cobwebs in it!) and the outside of my knees where my trousers must rub while sitting at my desk.

Yep.

Constant rubbing of trousers and from bedsheets has left the backs of my calves completely smooth in contrast to my normal chimp like appearance.

yes maybe its trouser pull ? even though the crossing of legs is lower down (bald patch higher)

I have bald knees from kneeling in canoes through the summer.

Yep left shin, with a flat edge that corresponds to the 3/4s I wear through winter riding. Strangely not on the right leg.

due to an ankle injury, my right foot stiocks out to the side a bit more, so if it's straight on the pedal, my right knee comes in more to the top tube than the other knee. you might have something similar going on. Or you shorts rub in a different place because you dress to that side...

I don't have any hairs on my legs, makes my weekend persona more credible.
