recommend a dough scrapper, for my g/f, and her newly learned baking skills
(we happily used the bread maker for kneading previously)

20 pages of them on amazon, and I dunno a good one from a bad one - or are they much of a muchness?
(would prefer to stay away from metal bladed ones, as the kitchen is only a year old and she a tad protective over it)

I find the cheap flexible ones best. less likely to damage surfaces. cannot recommend a brand as all mine are freebies from work.
