I know its a bag 🙂 Wins a cookie.

But what is it for ? I came across 3 of these today on a ride. Someone dumped them with grass clipping inside.

About 1m long and 450mm square, handles, zips velcro flap. Stands up like a mini wardrobe...odd.

Mail bag (not strong enough), pizza bags (not insulated).

Mmmmm

One of those garden vacuum things? Sucks the clippings into a sack.

Have something similar for a wall sander.

Bit big for carrying a skateboard in, seems designed for carrying on your back, though. A folded up wetsuit after surfing? Dunno, I’m at a loss.

Amazon deliveries. I noticed these in one of their vans last week.

Presume that the straps are for transporting in warehouse. Side entry to see parcels.

"Used in gardening for collecting grass, attaches to a mower/blower/sucker/strimmer type thing…"

Each one has a QRCode on them, that slipped into a small pouch sewn onto the side. Doubt a garden blower bag  would have that...?

@Agentfg

Mmm.. that could be likely. As there is a (laugh) Amazon fulfilment centre just up the road from where these were found.

@andrewh

Tried that and it just gave back the number that was already printed on the label.

Looks like remaining an enigma this one 🙂

Extra info: label inside... Made in China

Tiny reflective tabs on top beading.

Tried Google image search? I did and it said, "Best guess: BAG" 🙂

Amazon fulfillment centre doesn't have many bags by the look of it...

Amazon warehouse, feature

But perhaps the biggest giveaway.... a few on the front seat of a delivery van (suspect Amazon deliveries)

Was this ever solved?
I found one of these bags a couple of days ago along a bridleway in the Surrey Hills. A good half a mile or so away from any roads or houses.

Definitely delivery bags. Found a couple on the canal the other day that had had the contents of the packages nicked.

Most likely delivery bags for some company, but why would they be being abandoned in random rural locations with such regularity?

Surely the person doing the delivering doesn't do their last drop of the day, dump their bag in the nearest bush and then retire.

Most deliveries round here are single items from a van, I've not noticed drivers walking about with these bags and doing a typical Royal Mail style delivery round.

I believe they are Amazon's delivery bags of some kind!

or Aliens of course, based on the randomness of their disposal in remote locations.

PS If you find and care to recover, they very useful bags. Especially for camping trips when loading the car.

The courier was robbed and the goods transferred to something less identifiable? But would a bike courier be using rural routes?

Maybe they are giving up when they realise they aren't making any money from it. If you don't get paid much per delivery, and deliveries takes longer than expected, you could barely be earning minimum wage. Then there's the cost of fuel for your van etc.

They are amazon delivery bags. The driver picks up multiple bags at the depot (each one for an area or office block)
The amazon guy that delivers to our office carries at least one in every day.

Other companies may also use them, but we get a lot of amazon stuff as all staff get free amazon prime, and he always uses them when delivering.

Found another today. It still had some Amazon packaging contained within. All the labels removed that would would ID the recipient.

Did find a brand new ESR Wireless charger contained within and it works :-). However, my primitive phone doesn't support this type of charging 🙁

I have four so far and they are brilliant for camping trips 🙂
