Car failed its mot last week on broken front suspension spring which was replaced my the same garage . Today was the first day I used it since the repair and luckily whilst in a 30 speed limit I lost control of the car that I just managed to control , I thought the front end had collapsed, upon inspection the track rod end had came free , 5 miles before I was doing 60 mph I would not have stood a chance at that speed, what are my options with the garage they could have killed me .they obviously hadn't tightened it up.
I’d probably phone the garage.
Record everything on video and get another garage of the Aa to provide a written statement o the condition the found the car in. Then discuss the finding with the original garage if you feel like taking this that far. Or deliver the car back to the garages do let them fix it. Then forget it happened.
