Hi guys,
Looking for any tips / advice on how to backup a knackered iPhone 7.
Phone is totally smashed and front screen does not work at all.
Phone has power as it vibrates when flicking the silent switch.
Phone has never been backed up to iTunes and there’s a lot of photos / data that is no backed up in iCloud.
Looking to backup what is on it any way possible so it can be transferred to a new phone.
Tried plugging it in to iTunes but assume I have to “trust” the laptop via the phone which obviously isn’t possible!

Replace the screen. Learn an important lesson about backups.
Thought that might be the case unfortunately. I think it’s beyond a new screen in all honestly... looks like it’s had a hammer to it!
Just to note - not my iPhone, I’m helping s friend out!

Looks like you can trust a PC either using the iPhone -> camera USB adapter & a basic wired keyboard OR using Siri to connect to a Bluetooth keyboard by voice command.
