This has happened before, but I have just copied and pasted text from a website into an MS Word document, and it has carried the colour of the website's background with it. Now I can not for the life of me figure out how to keep the text, but get rid of the colour.
Is it possible?
I have tried going Page Layout --> Page Color, to no avail.
I have tried going Home --> Page Highlight Color to no avail.
What else can I do? Or is this just a device web authors use to make it inconvenient to take text from their sites?
When you paste into Word (right click) there should be an option to paste "Text Only".
Failing that, paste it into Notepad and copy it from there and then into Word.
