Not back till Thursday, 2 weeks is never enough!!!

Almost would rather have been in work, it really is not the best time of year to be off.

Fair play to you. I've got 5 houses to complete and sharpish or we'll be bankrupt for the summer. All external work for me, Im on the 6th day of one of the most deadly strains of man flu to have existed and the weathers looking really shoddy for the rest of the week. Canny wait!!!

Back down the Smoke tomorrow to carry on work on the 'Lympics - not bothered really, especially as every day off costs me money.

Is it a full blown start back tomorrow artist?? Lot of the sites/trades I know of aren't bothering till next Monday! Suppose the lympic sites do have a pretty fixed deadline tho 😀

Obviously most of you must have unimportant jobs 😉

Some of us were back at work last week.

Mates been in Sweden for the last ten days and yes he did confirm there's hardly been a flake of snow and his board never made it out of it's bag!!
Is it still good money for all trades on the lympic sites btw?

Don't know about good money for everyone wrighty - most of them are Eastern European 😉 I'm a subby to a big company and they pay me very well, but I get the same rate away from the 'Lympics too.

Back to work tomorrow but I'm planning a short day in the office. Get in for 10am & leaving by 4pm. Client meetings out & about on Wednesday morning followed by working from home in the afternoon. Thursday will be a full day in the office though then my usual work from home Friday 😛

Being self employed has its advantages especially when your clients know you're off over xmas & the work will wait till the new year 8)

Travelling back to work tomorrow - looks like it might be a slightly bumpy ride over the north sea 🙁

In work Wed morning, straight from the ferry, might well work 10-4 as I'll have a Landy full of stuff to unpack when I get home.

Not exactly over the moon about going back to work tomorrow but I think I actually need the routine in my life or I start to turn feral.

Got to clear out my office tomorrow and the 4th, party on the 4th (for me leaving) and then a meeting on the 5th as I leave on the 6th to set up on my own.

Very scary stuff but never been happier since I handed in my notice.

January looks nicely busy so far too and financially great. 😀

a few years go there was a post on this forum for who had the worst job. mine won (lost?)

Not I sorry 😉

But I did allow most of you to fill it with stuff you didn't eat :p

Anyway tomorrow sees me back at project work (now the slackers are available on the phone)
