I remember these being featured on Tomorrow's World.

Could you imagine someone featuring a wheel barrow with a space hopper for a front wheel on prime time television today?

invented by James Dyson of Hoover fame, a few years back the Dyson Shop in London PR department were madly trying to find an original unused one, not sure if they did,

We used to have a plastic bodied one, remember seeing the ball wheel around the garden long after the rest had disappeared. A good football they did not make.

I'm not sure how he became involved with Hoover, but Dyson has done well developing the ball barrow into the ball vacuum cleaner. I expect more people have the need for the latter over a niche fat barrow.

he wasn't, it's just that Hoover is colloquially synonymous with vacuum cleaning for which he has designed products,
