I've decided we're in need of a travel cot for holidays with baby. Suitable for indoors for winter and tent/tarp camping in the fairer weather. I like the Nomad and Little Life Arc 2 as they are really just cute mini tents. Packable and light is good.

Any experience/opinions on these? Maybe you've got one you'd be willing to part with?

Ta!

Yes, we have the Little Life one and also the standard issue Red Kit travel cot off of Amazon that everyone has.

The Little Life one is nice enough quality wise but our eldest hated it, it's more closed in than a normal cot. Ah those were some ******* awful nights of camping / hosteling / airbnb I tell thee.

The same with most baby stuff, best bet would be to pick one up cheap second hand a see how it goes. Knowing what I know now there is no way I'd have bought it because travelling with infants is generally awful.

The basic Red Kite travel cot is a good bit of kit, can't go wrong with those. Heavy though, for car trips only really.

we've got one of those tent-y cots as well as a standard one (like the red kite). The tenty one was ok, but really small - after 9 months the kid was way too big for it.

Just found the tenty one we got - its one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000HK8DDY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

the standard travel cot - they're all exactly the same, and a really nice bit of clever engineering.

Got a mini tent type one from Tesco that did well for camping and travelling when baby was smaller. Light weight. Mrs carried it on a train etc. Added a offcut of camping mat to increase of insulation.

Also have the standard travel cot you get in every hotel but we have added a foam mattress as she has slept in a lot as used when we have guests in her bedroom. Bigger and heavier really only for car camping.

The little life one is great.
we have the arc2 I think. The boy loved it, but is now too big and likes to steal his mums rab down sleeping bag (expensive taste).
could be up for selling it on if you would like to message, we have the uv sunscreen too which makes it nice and dark for them to sleep

Yep Arc2 here as well, it is so light take it even when it might be needed, also have the optional sun shade for use on beach/park/sunshade.

brill bit of kit.

only downside from my other half perspective is that is looks 'a bit outdoorsy'
