I need help from the singletrack brain

I'm looking for an axe that would be good for chopping already cut logs down into kindling

I looked at this but I think it maybe a bit over the top for what I need or is it worth paying a bit more.

thanks for the help 😀

You don't need/use a splitting axe for kindling.

if you want to do both jobs you need two.

A single handed axe for kindling

and a bfo one for splitting logs!

Rubbish. I use my Gransfors Maul for both rounds and kindling. You just need to know how to use an axe safely and properly. For the OP's requirement I'd recommend a Gransfors forest axe which will, form experience, do both happily.

I've got that £5 tool station axe for just this pupurpose. It's a nice tool, way better than the price would suggest.
