Bollox! I really need some time in the office tomorrow so I can do some proper planning/to do lists and then leave my thoughts on my desk rather than in my sleep!

I wake occasionally with some great ideas for work.

For ages I used to let it keep me awake then in the morning I'd forget the detail.

Somebody then suggeested keeping pen and paper by the bed to write them down. Not for works benifit but to empty my head and allow for sleep.

I laughed but it works, although now I use my phone and type incomprehensible nonsene that still makes no sense in the morning, but it lets me gets back to sleep straight away 😆

I barely think about work when I'm here never mind at home.

Might change soon though.

Pretty much 24/7 for me, but I'm an academic and (mostly) love my job. Obviously apart from the endless admin and moaning students.

Yeah I feel that pain. Never used to do it until I changed job, gets especially annoying if I catch myself thinking about it when I'm out riding or the like!

Another long day done but put a few demons to bed with the engineer about some dodgy levels before we left. Should sleep better tonight....
