Whenever I see things like this I wonder how much it would actually take to replace God Save the King with The Internationale.

So what he's saying is he wants wage slaves and not happy productive workers. Supine, malleable, compliant workers that just take orders and do what the big man says instead of fostering a collaborative, dynamic, blue sky culture.

He probably thought Victorian work houses were a thing of genius.

This won't fly with Gen Z anyway, none of them GAF if they don't like the job they just walk out or hand a notice in with immediate effect, they have a very bleak outlook on their future with home ownership seeming impossible and the idea of licking boots in a windowless corporate office seems akin to a version of personal hell for them. They'd rather do without and feel happier it seems. At least that's what the past year has taught me in an American owned corporate company when doing exit interviews with them when they've not just upped and left.

It's also worth noting that he appears to be another one of these "self-made" types who started out with one of those loans from a family member that everyone has access to.
