Hello

Going to Aviemore this weekend with the family (kids are 6, 3 and nearly 2). Planning to go to Highland Wildlife Park on Saturday (we have Edinburgh Zoo passes so can get in for free)

Looking for suggestions for other things to do including low level walks / bike rides, exploring type things for kids and also bad weather alternitives. Any thoughts? Is it worth taking them up the funicular or would this be wasted on them?

Ta

Actually staying in Feshiebridge if that makes any difference.

Reindeer centre at Glenmore has Santas house etc, quite good. And nearby, squirrel cafe has good food and you can watch the red squirrels. Short walk from that is the beach at Loch Morlich if the weather picks up.

Gondola up Cairngorm
There's one of those tree/rope high level adventure things just opposite Bothy Bikes on the Ski Road. No idea how good it is
Bothy Bikes hire both full sized and kids bikes, including helmets etc and there are good trails from their door

When does the stalking season start?

National Park so no stalking restrictions IIRC
