Got a couple of decent rides in already over the weekend so finishing sorting out the unpacking explosion from my month away and going to head out and listen to the hottest 100 down the local pub and enjoy some of the hottest 100 beers which they have got in.

So G'day cobber, chuck another shrimp on the barbie Bruce and tell Sheila to chuck some more tinnies in the cooler.

What you all up to?

Off for a ride in a minute. Had to take kids to the Cubs for the Ceremony in the local "village".
I quite like how Aussies turn out in their thousands for things like this, Remembrance Sunday and ANZAC day.

Happy Australia day chaps, my blending in is hampered by the sunburnt feet from yesterday beach trip. Now I look more like a pom than ever dammit. Think we are heading to the pub for the top 100 then south perth forehshore for the fireworks tonight.

I'm gonna wait for three hours then post a very similar topic Mike.

Nah, I'm moving house next week so today I'm gonna be doing the garden today ready to move out. Whilst drinking. I'm trying to work out how to hold a petrol whipper-snipper, drink, and turn snags on the barby without too much injury.

Wildhunter.... Train into Perth mate. Parking and traffic home is a nightmare. We usually go up King's Park but this year probs Monument Hill in Freo to watch the Freo foreshore display and less of a mission to get back to Spearwood.

Cheers for the headsup aphex, luckily we live in Mt Lawley so will most likely walk down and then over the bridge. Found out the hard way last year how hard it is to get around!

A feel fully blended in. Got my Bintang wife-beater on and a cold carton of Redback in the fridge. Doing the garden in my [s]flip-flops[/s] thongs. Getting the train in from Cockburn the Esplanade later with wife, 3 y/o lad and 6 months old lass to see the fireworks. Wifey wants to go so we'll give it a shot.

Drove Augusta - Margaret River - Meelup Beach - Clancy's @ City Beach for dinner and sunset - West Leederville for watching fireworks from the balcony. Not a bad first Australia Day for us.

Oooh love Clancy's. If they have Hop Hog (Feral Brewery) on tap then get some it's bloody lovely. Often at the Freo Clancy's. Great place.
