Oooh.
Only 600 horsiepower?
They got a lot done with that in those days
Not a proper sport quattro, shame. Although it would be worth about 200k more if it was...
The groub B quattro was 600bhp but only 1000kg. Plenty to be getting on with!

Life was cheap in them days so weight could be kept minimal.
I see your RS200 and match with a genuine Sport quattro.

That would be a hell of a car collection. Add a metro 6r4 for good measure.
Always feel very lucky to have been in and around all those group b carsand drivers as a kid.
Just need a slice of Michele Mouton...from the same era obvs.
Is the 9th post the right time to mention the environment...?
My hairdresser cuts hair for a guy who has a Lancia Delta S4, He turned down an offer of £1 million for it from Sotheby’s auctions.
Has had Every rally car under the Sun including escorts Metro 6R4 etc
I'll have the S4, please. Or a Stratos in Alitalia colours.
I'll never forget seeing bodyshells for the RS200 stacked up outside the Reliant factory near Tamworth many years ago.
I notice that it doesn't say whether the indicators work on the Audi 😉
The oddest thing for me as a kid was finding out Michelle Mouton was a lady! Louise aitken walker never quite lived up to her predecessor. However she was a decent swimmer 😳
The RS200 assembly factory was at Stonall just outside Lichfield. Used to see Julian Lloyd Webber there keeping an eye on his car going through assembly.
Would have loved to have owned one!

I’m keeping my thighs in my jeans.
a genuine Sport quattro.
I like that. I like that a lot.
Back at school, my Physics teacher and my Electronics teacher were locked into a car one-upmanship battle for years. One of them wound up with an identical Quattro to that one ^^ and it pretty much ended the argument.
