No, that is shite too.

I prefer this one ... Eagle E-Type Lightweight Speedster.

Well I've just arrived in Sheffield to visit the parents to find my mum has bought an F-Type S. After the initial shock, I've been out for a drive and I can't imagine anyone *needing* any more car. It's comfortable, it's quick, it's gorgeous, it holds the road supremely well, the in-car entertainment is superb, it is (at the moment, at least in coupe form) fairly exclusive. Jaguar have really excelled themselves.

And this is from me who - up until now - has had a stripped down, suped up, highly strung, mental RX7 as the best car I've ever driven. At the moment, I'd take the Jag over another RX7.

How original, they've never had a wildly OTT chase between an Aston and a Jag before...

Oh...

What the hell have they done to that ^ ?!

Jenson interceptor, right? have max power had their hands on it 😉 😥

Of the 2 of the OP not really taken with either of them Aston at a push I guess.

The Jag. F Type is a lovely car though.

And much uglier.

Does anyone really give a toss about exclusivity?

Fair enough, not my bag though, the Eagle E types are very nice though.

The up dating thing is quite hard to do though.

POSTED 6 HOURS AGO #

My own money would go on a GTR. I'm not old enough for an Aston and certainly not old enough for a Jag . A guy a work (bet he's 65) has an f type he says the build quality is shocking.

Best avoid Maserati then, Friend of a freinds GT literally dismantled itself on the trip to the South of France 😆

Wish the pic had a bit more light to it, looks great however worried if fully lit the front end may have a touch to much of the Corvette about it 😉
Rear 3/4 view is lovely though

But that's what Jags are all about!
Now this is a Jag! Don't bother wrapping it, I'll take it now...

I can see where you've gone wrong there.

Astons were nice before the war - all the later ones are a bit naff.
Jags are for criminals and dirty old men (and women, obviously).

Gentlemen drive a Bristol.

Do like it as much now, something not quite right.

I'm not sure you can really improve on the original design aside of slightly wider wheels.

something not quite right.

i know what you mean. the Lyonheart looks a bit XKR-ish fron the front, while the Growler looks a bit McLaren SLR-ish from the front. while they both have tried their best to replicate the silhouette of the original, from the rear they both seem a bit Corvette Stingray-ish
both are still stunning and therefore they would still go in my fantasy car collection

Yes, which isn't that pretty (being super picky 😉 )

Looks a bit cheap kit carish ( your kitcar/replica is nice though WCA having seen it in the flesh so don't take as an insult 😉 )

That's odd, cos the front of Bristols often makes me think of a Growler.

Loco - I designed my car* to my tastes so not too fussed if other people don't like it. I am always glad when they do like is though.

*Picky - not actually a kit car**. It is a bespoke built re-body of an existing car.

**Super picky - You can now buy kit car replicas of my car starting from £1995

Slightly O/T but I had to stop watching the video in the OP because it was littered with one of my pet hates; "Astin Martin".

Aston, Aston, Aston, ASTON!

Like Aston Villa.

Sometimes your pet hate can be advantageous.

I have 6 original wire wheels from an Aston Martin DB4 for £80 from ebay because the guy posted them as "Astin Martin" wheels and had no pictures. Lucky find I thought
