Any recommendations of systems designers/installers for an ASHP solution for a renovation?

No recommendations for installers but choose wisely, don’t skimp on design and the right kit is crucial. We use Vaillant aero therm plus for most of our domestic installs and they are very good.

Same question but for Fife/Dundee area. Tried loads of local installers but nobody's even replying in the first instance, never mind coming back with quotes.

As Bear says, it is the design, and then the set-up where the skills lie.
Installing them is pretty easy, I've fitted a few now, but wont be qualified /MCS credited until September/October.

If you planning on applying for a Government grant, you’ll almost certainly need an MCS installers certification. You also need to consider all aspects of your build, particularly insulation and air tightness. Try asking on the Buildhub Self-Build forum.
