Anyone tried them? I went to the giant Walmart cathedral in Milton Keynes, found some frames I liked but the assistant told me that I shouldn't get them because they only sell mid-range varifocals (i.e. ones with some off centre distortion equivalent to Specsavers Premium) and my present ones are  less distorting (equivalent to Specsavers Elite).

I've got them, in the thinnest they do, 1.74? They are fine. My first varifocals though, so no comparisons to make. My regular optician had a look at them and said they were well enough made and would have cost at least 3x at his place.

Thanks midlifecrashes. They seem tremendous value - cheaper than the frame from other online sites. I might take a punt.

I’ve got top end and low end ones, low end totally fine, a bit more swimmy but fine. If they aren’t, take em back.
