Okay arm chair experts...
I have just seen a rhino/cougar/ocelot/whatever with the back end waaaaaay out of line with the front chugging down the a9.
Is it some kind of bullet dodging feature?
Nothing to add as explanation but pretty sure I saw the same one Southbound around Aviemore earlier. Waaaaaaaaay out of line!
Crab?
RAF, shirley?
Squaddies kicking the shit out of some kit isn’t anything new
Rear stearing will have got out of sync or packed in. When it’s working they have a really small turning circle.
not a arm chair expert
Classic minis are all like it, didn't seem to affect them much
Legend are you suggesting they've bent an armoured vehicle?
All the wheels pointed forward just not inline with the front?
Abd it definitely wasn't drifting!
Well they bend everything else.....
Ha! Fairenough i suspect though that its out of sync steering tight corners would be interesting... I guess your average garden wall would dissintegrate if that hit it!
I think it's a feature on all Army vehicles to allow them to drive six inches over the white line at all times.
The wheels on those vehicles are designed to be sacrificial in the event of an explosive strike.. They are designed to be easily removable and replaceable to get the vehicle back up and running in a warzone. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the tracking is out.. don't think REME focus on 4 wheel laser alignment when they rebuild them.
As others have mentioned, squaddies often not mechanically sympathetic..

I rememer seeing a mondeo coming towards me recently looking like it was coming side on, almost took up the whole width of its lane! Front bumper mangled, rear tyres giving out a LOT of smoke. My guess was someone ran out of skill and was trying to get it home.
