I just ordered a Karcher pressure washer from Argos, wife went to collect, came back with it. Nothing unusual there I hear you say. On closer inspection the pressure washer we have is a better model and £100 more expensive. What would Singletrack do?

Sort out the patio to avoid comments when you post a bike photo?

Make sure your reciept matches what you have got. If it breaks and it dosent match up you may well be stuffed with a claim.

Just gone through it with Halfords

Did you pay for the better one? If not, you should take it back as it's theft or sumink....

Personally, I would't be taking it back. But Tracy does make a good point.

Thanks Tracey, that's what I'm thinking, if there's an issue I'm stumped...

Contact them in writing and tell them that what's happened and that if they'd like to come and collect it and deliver the correct item at the same time you'll make reasonable efforts to facilitate it. You aren't trying to keep something you haven't paid for nor are you having to go out of your way to correct it. If they say keep it then clarify that the guarantee will be honoured

Aye. In my experience of Karcher you will very likely need to be able to get it repaired or replaced under warranty at some point so make sure you can do that!

This is probably the best course of action, they will likely happily have you jump through hoops to sort it out, so make it clear; that if there is to be any trajectory through circular shaped objects, it is they who will be piloting it.
It's their mistake to fix and shouldn't require effort or cost on your part.

If they decide it's too much effort, then congrats on your free upgrade with warranty, that you can then just keep or sell.
